Henry B. Thompson, Architect.

Architecture is often experienced as a series of separate disciplines — design, engineering, approvals, procurement and construction — each entering the project at a different point.

Henry B. Thompson's experience across those disciplines has shaped a different perspective: the decisions made at the beginning influence everything that follows.

His work has crossed architecture, construction, project definition, procurement and technically demanding project environments — from custom residences to life sciences. Experiencing projects from multiple perspectives has reinforced a simple principle: before determining what to design or build, first understand what the project actually needs to become.
